Collective Unconscious and the Worship of the Cosmos
How symbols communicate messages to us, whether we realize it or not
Intro
Symbols have been utilized since the dawn of time to impart particular meanings. It’s not just secret societies and mystery schools that embed certain meanings into symbols, but they’ve been used by every culture throughout time – and, at times, there are both exoteric and esoteric meanings for the same symbol. One meaning for the profane, another for the initiates and adepts.
As I started understanding the mystery religion and its pervasiveness in all facets of even the modern day, and how it all ties back to astrotheology, I also started noticing how many stars and references to the cosmos there are at the highest levels of institutions and power structures.
Without going into extensive detail, which is reserved for another post or series of posts, for the purposes of this article we’ll keep things high level and just paint a framework that posits that religions are essentially based on astrotheology. Think of astrotheology as the pagan worship of the stars/cosmos. Various ‘gods’ and god-like figures deified throughout history are personified versions of the heavens/cosmos.
And I posit in my content that those ‘at the top’ of the hierarchy are essentially devout followers of the ‘old religion’ based on the pagan Mystery Babylon religion. They don’t all believe the same thing, but their beliefs have somewhat deviated, or splintered off, from the core teachings of occulted practices.
But it’s all based on power and control on the material plane. It’s an attitude of ‘do as thou wilt’ do amass power and wealth. It’s about using various forms of magick (yes, it’s real) to benefit themselves in this life.
As civilizations advanced, the social engineers of the day decided to personify the stars and planets in order to make their doctrines (read: control structures of religion) more widely accepted by the masses. The Chaldeans of ancient Babylonia were arguable the first to personify them to a great extent. And remember that Constantine didn’t really convert to Christianity – he was a pagan sun worshiper and used Christianity as a tool for power.
It is really fascinating once one starts investigating this topic, just how many flags and other prominent places use stars in their design. In this article I’ll provide many examples that showcase this, and how it ultimately ties back to the pagan mystery religion of Babylon as well as the collective unconscious.
Symbols, and the collective unconscious
Symbolism is the language of the Mysteries; in it is the language not only of mysticism and philosophy but of all Nature, for every law and power active in universal procedure is manifested to the limited sense perceptions of man through the medium of symbol. Every form existing in the diversified sphere of being is symbolic of the divine activity by which it is produced. By symbols men have ever sought to communicate to each other those thoughts which transcend the limitations of language.
Rejecting man-conceived dialects as inadequate and unworthy to perpetuate divine ideas, the Mysteries thus chose symbolism as a far more ingenious and ideal method of preserving their transcendental knowledge. In a single figure a symbol may both reveal and conceal, for to the wise the subject of the symbol is obvious, while to the ignorant the figure remains inscrutable. He who seeks to unveil the secret doctrine of antiquity must search for that doctrine not upon the open pages of books which might fall into the hands of the unworthy but in the place where it was originally concealed.
The above is from a book called the Atlantean Heritage.
When I started reading the works of Joseph Campbell years ago, it really helped me understand the role of archetypes throughout history. His seminal work The Hero With a Thousand Faces outlines how various cultures throughout history use similar themes and archetypes – thus we get the same ‘hero’ figure, with a thousand different faces/names. They are archetypes of characteristics, traits, behaviors. Much like how I pointed out in my previous articles breaking down the Madonna figure throughout history.
Carl Jung is perhaps more well-known for explaining archetypes. Both Campbell and Jung propagated the idea of the collective unconscious that is a part of us all. From Academy of Ideas we get this excerpt,
In the 20th century a number of thinkers studying comparative mythology and religion noticed something peculiar about the myths of different cultures throughout history. Many of them shared fundamental similarities in theme, structure, and symbolism.
This led to the question as to how such similarities could arise in cultures separated by both space and time. Carl Jung and Joseph Campbell, two of the more prominent thinkers studying this problem, proposed that the reason for such similarities was due to the fact that many mythological themes and symbols emerge from an area of the mind called the collective unconscious.
In addition to the mind consisting of a personal unconscious, which is composed of elements drawn from an individual’s life experience, the collective unconscious contains elements or cognitive structures which evolved over human history, and are therefore common to all.
These evolved cognitive structures, which Jung called archetypes, cannot be observed directly, but manifest various images or symbolic patterns which form the basis of many myths – explaining how similar myths can arise in cultures separated by hundreds or thousands of years.
As Joseph Campbell, the 20th century’s foremost expert on world mythology, noted:
“The symbols of mythology are not manufactured; they cannot be ordered, invented, or permanently suppressed. They are spontaneous productions of the psyche.”
Symbols still communicate deep messages to us when we see them, whether we realize it or not. To the adepts of various mystery schools, they communicate different messages, the esoteric messaging, not reserved for the profane – the latter receive the exoteric meaning due to lack of gnosis, or knowledge.
Temples and structures in ancient Egypt were built in such a way as well. John Anthony West documented much of this in great detail with his team over a decade ago, in his Magical Egypt series,
The team has discovered a previously unrecognized visual language, a type of visual cipher, hidden in the hieroglyphic reliefs, statuary, and architectural motifs of ancient Egypt. The message encrypted in this visual language is scientific. It records and transmits the core principles of a very sophisticated ancient science.
The discovery holds severe implications for art history as well as scientific history. These discoveries show an unprecedented marriage of art and science that allows central scientific principles to be communicated visually, in a trans-lingual mode of transmission.
These discoveries stand at odds with the generally held view that the ancient Egyptians did not know what the brain was for, and are confrontational to the generally agreed-upon picture of the ancient psyche and the level of scientific sophistication in place in the ancient world.
Just as surprising as the sophistication of the ancient science is its focus – the artwork transmits beautifully encrypted schematics of brain architecture and other biological systems: most having to do with either the mystery of consciousness or the mystery of reproduction.
The more examples the team compiled, the more it seemed that the entire culture was a giant expression of an ancient story told through art and symbol. The story serves as an allegory, or to use a more modern term, a dynamic model of the mysteries of consciousness itself. First, it schematizes the vital biological systems that are involved with consciousness. Then, through the use of mythos, legend, and symbol, it ascribes to them an array of descriptors, specific behaviors, tendencies, affinities, and other operational, functional information making for a brilliant transmission of both the form and function.
The series is a must-watch. It documents, among many other findings, how the various temples and structures in ancient Egypt spoke a hidden language that resulted in profound experiences for the initiates and adepts that understood the symbology. The ‘normies’ of that time didn’t experience these same profound experiences because they lacked the gnosis as I outlined above.
A second season was released more recently, which I’ve heard great things about as well.
The five pointed star (pentagram)
Most prominently featured in flags is the five pointed star, or pentagram. In Freemasonry and the occult/secret societies/mystery schools, this is a very important symbol.
In alchemical terms each point of the star represents a part of nature – air, water, fire, and earth. The upward pointing fifth one represents the ethereal spirit.
With spirit pointing up, it’s a positive symbol – it represents positive spirituality.
Satanic and evil entities depict the inverted pentagram which has spirit being thrust downwards – thrusting downwards into the material plane.
Washington DC
The nation’s capitol is flooded with symbolism – not just the Washington Monument as I outlined in my last article. Much work has been done on this so I’ll provide some reference material below.
The inverted pentagram’s fifth point, or spirit, lands on the White House. Coincidence? No, this represents the spirit of Lucifer is in power there – that those who worship him and use occult practices to channel his ‘power’ are based there.
From my research, the final ‘arm’ there which is unfinished represents that the ‘Great Work’ is still underway - it’s not complete, yet.
Perhaps that’s what this recent WEF/related massive push for power is really about - to finish their evil version of their so-called ‘Great Work’. The final leg of depopulation, destruction of the global economy, and ushering in their ‘Great Reset’ which is code for their ‘Great Work’, a multi-generational plan of power. Don’t believe me? Just read my last article using their direct quotes.
Flags
With this in mind, let’s look at the flags of various countries and see the omnipresence of the cosmos in them. Many have the masculine (sun) and feminine (moon) represented as well.
In corporate symbols
From Richard Cassaro’s site we get this,
Psychologists and mythologists like Carl Jung and Joseph Campbell have long taught that symbols like this continue to have a pull on the human mind. They are deeply embedded in our cultural consciousness, with a meaning that is long forgotten but continues to affect us by circumventing logic and reason by tapping into a more primal source within us. Marketers have known the link of these icons to a consumer’s raw emotions for years, dating back to over a hundred years ago. Even if they themselves do not know the original meaning behind an esoteric symbol, they intuitively understand its affect on people and shift that feeling into their products and thus unconsciously associating these ancient symbols with their own products in the minds of consumers.
Once learned and associated, the symbol’s identity and the emotions it elicits become ingrained in the mind forever, drawing us in again and again, entering the deepest unconscious of our unsuspecting thoughts.
Stars, stars everywhere…
In another post I’ll discuss the Saturn symbolism and how frequently that’s found in corporate logos as well. That’s a whole ‘nother rabbit hole.
Conclusion
With all that being said, what do we make of this? Is this the Mystery Babylon religion flaunting itself in our faces? Or is it simply the collective unconscious coming through in the aforementioned examples?
It’s likely a bit of both but I posit, due to how much these symbols have permeated the highest levels of humanity, much like how I pointed out above in Washington DC (which was essentially designed by Masons), it’s predominantly the ‘old religion’ flexing its power and omnipotence. And, as throughout history, e.g. as I pointed out in ancient Egypt, it’s mixed with an ignorance tied to the collective unconscious – the masses see the symbols as well but don’t really understand what they represent.
It shows that, despite thinking modern humans are so advanced, we still worship the stars, just like pagans of antiquity. It’s the same pagan sun worship that the highest levels of power have always plead allegiance to. The ‘rising star’ or ‘morning star’ that represents Lucifer, the light-bringer.
Symbols rule the world, but only those that have an eye to notice the true meanings will recognize them for what they really represent.
